Norway Pool Table
The Norway incorporates the lodge look with the traditional style pool table.
The finished knotty pine brings out that warm natural look. Each table is
hand-hewn to give it its own unique character and rustic look.
The cabinet body is assembled at the factory (no brackets and screws). The outside perimeter is 7-ply plywood, the center body and cross beams are laminated 14-ply. There are support braces over the leg mounts to provide
greater strength. All the joints are glued and have support blocks. Once the body is assembled, but prior to the top plate going on, the cabinet is machined
to a flat surface to within five one-thousandths of an inch using a computerized router. This ensures that the slat will lie on a truly flat horizontal plane.
Each cabinet is wrapped with hand draw-knifed Ponderosa Pine to carry the log look throughout the table.
For the Ponderosa table, the legs are a 9” diameter Norway Pine log, the Norway
table legs are a 6” diameter Norway Pine log. Both are hand draw-knifed to give
each leg its own unique character. Each log is bolted on through the leg support
mounts, making the table very rigid.
The unirail combines both the top rail and side skirt built as one. We use only the best furniture grade Ponderosa Pine that is dried down to 8% moisture
content. Each pine unirail is hand draw-knifed to give each rail its own character and signature. No two rails will ever be the same.
